Harold Conrad, 93, of Cardwell, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
Born March 10, 1919, in Cardwell, Mr. Conrad was an Army veteran of World War II, and a retired farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Glen Harold Conrad of Cardwell; two grandchildren, Tonja Foster and Scott Conrad Walker, both of Paragould. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and family friend, Charles Qualls of Cardwell.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James and Zora Conrad; his wife, Blanche Conrad; one daughter, Jerry Kay Walker; one sister, Mae Gist; and three brothers, Orville Conrad, Arlie V. Conrad, and Ewell “Jack” Conrad.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, at Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19th, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with David Flanrey officiating. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery.
