Oleda M. Presson Ford, 84, of Jonesboro, died Monday, June 4, 2012, at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1928 in Rector, to Jesse E. and Elsie Marshall Presson.

Mrs. Ford was a housewife and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse W. and Sandra Stafford of Jonesboro; a daughter-in-law, Karen Stafford of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Lauri and Dennis Adams of Hot Springs and Marty and Woody Parks of Southaven, Mississippi; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Boyd Ford; a son, Jimmy Stafford; eight brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 7th, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel of Rector with Terry Joe Kee and Bill Willard officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until service time at Mitchell Funeral Home, Rector.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jess Stafford, Jarrett Stafford, John Stafford, Hank Parks, Nick Parks, and Zack Parks.
