Wandalene Futrell Mitchell, 95, of Paragould, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Belle Meade Health Center.

She was born June 18, 1917, in Paragould, to Jeptha and Vestal Futrell. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker, a former employee of Arkansas Highway Department, and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Mitchell Grilletta and her husband, Steve of Jonesboro, Sterlene Shelton of Vidor, Texas; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Sterling Fitzgerald, and James M. Mitchell; daughter, Gail Hibbeler Fitzgerald; and two brothers, J.M. Futrell and Jeptha Futrell, Jr.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, July 20th, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at Mitchell Funeral Home, Friday, from 1:30 p.m. until service time.

Memorials to Northeast Arkansas Humane Society or to Children’s Home of Paragould would be appreciated.
